“Through this event, we hope to give back to the cannabis community of Denver. We’ve invited local bands and talent and look forward to working with fellow Colorado companies to say ‘Thank you’ to those who have worked hard to help the cannabis industry mature throughout the state,” said Bob Eschino, founder of incredibles.
The event’s live music performances feature renowned local and international artists from California and Jamaica to the United Kingdom. Musicians include: Cut Chemist, Don Carlos, Rusko, Dumpstaphunk, J Phlip, Del the Funky Homosapien, Invisibl Skratch Picklz, Blockhead, and Phaeleh.
Offering a diverse selection of musical entertainment, 420 on the Block will also present a visual showcase of artistic mediums, including glass blowing, live painting, fashion, vj’s dancers, and more.
“We felt it was time to make the largest party in Colorado a homegrown event. The Green Solution, Incredibles, and THC Magazine are all industry OG’s. It’s time we took 420 back to our roots,” said David Maddalena, CEO of THC Magazine.

Keep an eye on 420 On The Block on Facebook for the latest news and updates on the lineup. Pricing is tiered based on date, so grab tickets nowish for the best deal. Here’s the lineup so far:
Beats are Jessica Phillippe’s day job, night job, and everything in between. From her Illinois roots, she’s toured the planet behind the turntables of some of the hottest clubs worldwide. She lived in techno mecca Berlin for three years to learn the craft of club. Find her recorded on the Dirtybird label or, even better, live and spinning vinyl wherever the setup is old school enough.
Lucas McFadden, aka Cut Chemist, has been at it on the records since age 11. He’s best known for time served with both Grammy Award-winning Latin funk band Ozomotli and hip hop longtimers Jurassic 5. Also seen often with renowned turntablist DJ Shadow. Random trivia: Cut Chemist had a cameo appearance in the 2007 comedy Juno as the high school chemistry teacher, wordplay on his “chemist” moniker.
Visiting Colorado from all the way across the pond in the U.K., Leeds-born DJ/producer Rusko brings dubstep roots and say-anything shock value to the 420 On The Block festivities. Best known for the rave anthem “Cockney Thug”. His mom calls him Christopher William Mercer when he’s in trouble.
Representing the jam band contingency of 420 festival goers, Dumstaphunk’s funky jam stylings come to us from New Orleans. Their jams put a fresh modern edge on a done-every-way genre, delighting with soulful lyricism and body rockin’ good feels.
INVISIBL SKRATCH PIKLZ
We dare you to try standing still for the set of this trio of DJs Apollo, Stylez, and QBert. Giants of the hip hop underground during the late 90s and early 2000s, these three competed their way to the top at the DMC World DJ Championships and pioneered the turntablist movement.
DELTRON 3030 (AKA DEL THE FUNKY HOMOSAPIEN)
“I ain’t happy, I’m feeling glad. I got sunshine, in a bag. I’m useless, but not for long. The future is coming on …” If you recognize this line from the Gorillaz, then you know Del and his unmistakable voice. He’ll be bringing his bagged sunshine and lyrical wizardry to the Denver festival scene for 420 On The Block.
Don Carlos goes all the way back to the roots of reggae as a founding member of Reggae Masters and Black Uhuru. We hear he’s a big deal in Africa.
Manhattan-based DJ/producer Blockhead brings east coast hip hop to the Colorado 420 Block Party this year. James Anthony Simon, as he’s called on his driver’s license, dips into golden strains of trip hop, downtempo, and electronica, keeping his tunes elevated and instrumental.
